Andy Hotchkiss is a third generation Washingtonian and has been working in commercial real estate since 2002. He specializes in pad sites, retail tenant and landlord representation, as well as representing medical tenants. Over his 18+ year career, Andy has completed hundreds of retail lease and sale transactions filling close to a million square feet of retail space. His deep roots in the Washington DC Metropolitan region afford him a vast understanding and knowledge of the rapidly changing markets in which he works. He has solidified many lasting relationships with national, regional, and local Tenants and Landlords that allow him to cut through a lot of “red-tape” and get his clients the best deal terms possible.
Currently, Andy represents and/or has sourced many national retailers, such as Taco Bell, Studio Movie Grill, Aveda Salon & Spas, Wendy’s, America’s Best Contacts and Eyeglasses, Aldi Foods, Blaze Pizza, Burger King, BurgerFI & 7-11 to name a few. Additionally, he helps many local retailers to find the ideal space while appealing to prospective Landlords in order to properly conduct their business in the best real estate situation possible. Some of these tenants include Java Nation, V Eye P Optical, Chi’Bal Mexican Kitchen, Casa Dora, Drs. Ensor, Johnson & Lewis Pediatric Dentistry, Southern Maryland Foot and Ankle, and Classic Bakery.
Aside from real estate, Andy is also an entrepreneur. He was a founder and co-owner of The Honour Society, an officially licensed collegiate accessories brand (owned over 80 major collegiate licenses), which was sold to a national collegiate licensing company in 2017. Recently, Andy has worked on a reboot of Hammerjacks, an iconic Baltimore Music Venue Brand.
